Sort of. You can play AION 2 with a controller, but NC does not officially support it, so plan on keyboard and mouse as the main setup.

NC has not announced it. Before launch they said they were still looking at it, and at launch it stayed unsupported.
Can I play AION 2 with a controller on Steam Deck?
Yes, Valve rates it Playable. The default layout does not cover every function, so expect to tweak controls or use the touchscreen and keyboard.
