Opens reward Cubes
Expedition, Transcendence and Sanctuary Cubes all cost Odyle Energy.

It only comes back slowly, so extra energy means extra endgame runs.
Soul Crystals
Feeds Genus Insight
Soul Crystals go into your pets' Genus Insight for permanent stats.
Stack the slots
Missions with crystals in several reward slots are the best picks.
Nightmare and Trial Tickets
More runs
Both have limited entries. A bonus ticket means one more attempt.
Good loot
These runs pay crafting and enhancing materials.
Kina
Fine filler
Smaller than an Expedition payout but much quicker to earn.
How to Pick the Best Missions
View the Reward Probabilities

Open the Journal with J and go to the Duty tab.

Click the percent icon under a mission's random rewards to see the drop rates.

Take missions with a real shot at the reward you want, around a one in three chance or better.

No good options? Reroll the list with Kina.
Up to 5 Rewards
Leftmost reward
Always drops. Check this one first.
Middle rewards
Chance based, and the odds drop as you go right.
Rightmost reward
The rarest slot. A nice bonus, never the reason to pick.
How to Get Duty Quests

Reach level 45.
- 2
Follow your faction's Episode quests up to the Abyss.
- 3
Get to about 1,000 Item Level and enter the Abyss.
- 4
Open the Journal with J. The Duty tab now has your missions.

Best Duty Missions FAQ
Do alts get extra Duty Missions?
No. The 5 daily completions are shared by all your characters on the same server, so do them on the character that needs the rewards most.
Why can I not see the Duty tab at 45?
You also need to reach the Abyss, which takes about 1,000 Item Level and your faction's story up to that point.
Which Duty reward is the best?
Odyle Energy if you run a lot of Expeditions, Soul Crystals if you want permanent stats. Both beat Kina.
