How to Use Theostones

Theostones give your weapon or guard a small chance to fire an extra effect on hit. Damage stones suit PvE, control stones shine in PvP.

Trigger chance stays the same at every grade. Higher grades hit harder or last longer.

How to Use Theostones

Engrave a Theostone on a Weapon or Guard

  1. 1

    Open the Enhancement window and go to the Theostone tab.

    Pick your weapon or guard.

  3. 3

    Choose the Theostone and press Engrave.

  4. 4

    Pay 10,000 Kina. The effect works right away.

Each item holds one Theostone, and two copies of the same stone do not stack.

Removing Theostones

Get the stone backRemoving a Theostone destroys it. It does not return to your bag.
Swap any timeYou can engrave a new stone over the old one whenever you want.
Survives TransferTransfer wipes Theostones from the old item.

Spare and duplicate stones are perfect combine fodder.

Best Theostones for PvE and PvP

PvE: damage stones

Elemental hits and damage over time add steady damage on bosses and packs.

PvP: control stones

A surprise Stun, Root or Seal can swing a fight.

Fast hitters

More hits means more rolls, so low chance, high damage stones get better.

Do not overspend

Theostones add less damage than levels and stat lines. Fill those first.

How to Use Theostones FAQ

Can I remove a Theostone and keep it?

No. Removing it destroys the stone, so only swap when you have a better one.

Do two of the same Theostone stack?

No. Only one copy of an effect counts.

Does a higher grade raise the trigger chance?

No. The chance stays the same. Higher grades make the effect stronger or longer.

Which gear can hold a Theostone?

Your weapon and your guard. Armor and accessories cannot take one.
