How to Join a Party and Add Friends

Accept an invite or hit Quick Join in a dungeon menu to get a group. Add friends by name from Manage Friends, even if they play on another server.

How to Join a Party

Accept a Party Invite

Ask a friend or another player to send you a party invite.

Accept the prompt that pops up.

Check the party panel to see everyone in the group.

Open the menu for the dungeon you want, like an Expedition or a Sanctuary.

Press Quick Join.

The game puts you in a party that still has open spots.

How to Create a Party

Make a Party Through Its Menu

Click the party button on your HUD and create a party. You become the leader.

For someone nearby, hold Alt to free the cursor and click their character.

Choose Invite to Party.

For a friend far away, click their name in your friends list and invite from there.

Use the Friends Menu

Press Esc and open Manage Friends.

Type the exact character name in the add friend box.

Press Confirm to send the request.

Press the Add Friend icon above their name. You can invite them to your party from the same menu.

How many players can be in a party in AION 2?

Up to 5 in Expedition and Transcendence dungeons and up to 10 in Sanctuary raids.

Can you play with friends on a different server?

Yes for dungeons, since all instanced content is cross-server. You can also add friends from any server by name.

How do you add a friend who is not nearby?

Press Esc, open Manage Friends, type their exact character name and press Confirm.

Can Elyos and Asmodians party together?

Only in supported PvE dungeons. Each server holds one faction, so everywhere else you stay with your own side.
