How to Make an Alt Character

Create It on the Character Select Screen

    Log out to the character selection screen.

  2. 2

    Pick an empty slot on your main's server.

  3. 3

    Choose a class and customize the look, or load a style from the Style Shop.

  4. 4

    Play the story to 45, then run the content your main has already capped.

Same server, same faction

Each server holds one faction, so an alt there shares your main's side.

Guides count 4 slots per server to start. NC lists extra slots at 1,000 Quna each.

Skip the alt Pass

Do not buy a Daeva Pass for an alt you rarely play.

AION 2 Alt Character FAQ

Do alts get their own Duty Missions?

No. Duty Missions are limited to 5 a day per server, shared by all your characters there.

Should my alt be on the same server?

Usually yes. Same server means Server Storage, shared pet progress and the same faction as your main.

How many character slots do I get?

Guides report 4 slots per server to start. NC's transfer notice lists extra slots at 1,000 Quna each.
