How to Soul Bind Equipment
- 1
Open the Enhancement window and pick the Soul Binding tab.
- 2
Select the item. Its bonus lines and Soul Binding Rate show up.

Fix the bad lines first with Sync or Reset.
- 4
Use Bind until the Soul Binding Rate reaches 100%.
Bind Stats
- CostSoul Codex and Kina, more as the rate climbs
- ResultAlways a gain, but the size is random

Sync
- What it doesRerolls one line you pick into a new one

One bad line? Sync is much cheaper than a full Reset.

Soul Binding Stats by Equipment Slot
Each slot rolls from its own pool. A few strong lines only show up on one armor piece.

How to Get the Extra Soul Binding Line

Bind every line to max so the rate shows 100%.

Bring 2 Philosopher's Stones of the kind the item asks for.
- 3
Pay 1,000,000 Kina. The line always gets added, but its stat is random.

Armor, necklaces and earrings can roll a level for one passive skill.
How to Soul Bind Equipment FAQ
Can you trade Soul Bound gear in AION 2?
No. Once you bind an item it stays on your character for good.
Should I use Sync or Reset?
Sync when one line is bad, Reset when most lines are wrong. Reset costs a lot more Kina.
When should I start Soul Binding?
Around level 45. Story gear before that gets replaced too quickly.
Does Soul Binding carry over to new gear?
Yes, through Transfer. Only the extra Philosopher's Stone line is lost.
