How to Upgrade the Amulet

  1. 1

    Pick up Empyrean Traces as you explore the open world and the Abyss.

  2. 2

    Hand them in at the Monolith. Each Monolith level pays out amulet scrolls.

  3. 3

    Enhance the amulet to +10 with the scrolls and Enhance Stones.

  4. 4

    Substance Morph the +10 amulet into the next grade.

  5. 5

    The new grade starts at +0, so repeat until it is Unique.

Enhance Stones early

Run Sealed Dungeons on the way through the story for a steady pile of stones.

Never replaced

Every scroll you spend on the amulet stays with you.

Clash Runes

Two rune slots

They sit with your accessories and count toward Item Level right away.

Where to get them

Regional Quest rune chests first, then the Nightmare shop.

Stop at +1

Past +1 a failed upgrade can destroy the rune, so keep a spare. More
