Optional boss · Chapter 7
Bahamut Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
How to Beat Bahamut
Before the Fight
- Bring heavy non-elemental skills such as Terra's Ultima or Bartz's Flare Blade, both from Awakening 3.
- Put the Ribbon on a Multi-Cover tank like Rain.
- Equip counter abilities for both physical and magic attacks.
Bahamut Strategy
Skip Elements Entirely
He stores the elemental damage he takes and counters once it builds up, storing more as his HP drops. Non-elemental attacks never feed it.
Stagger to Reset the Clock
Breaking him resets the Megaflare countdown. Flare Blade and Double Action make that much easier.
Lid's Mecha Behemoth Combo
If Lid is in the party, give her Reckless Abandonment from Tidus at Mastery Rank 5. Use it with Overclock, then Mecha Behemoth for a huge chunk of stagger.
Ribbon Tank Takes the Ailments
He throws many status effects. Ribbons on everyone work, or one Ribbon on a Multi-Cover tank covers the whole party.
