Vision Mastery Bonus Explained
Bring it into battle
A Vision earns Mastery points (MRP) while it is equipped during fights, a bit like EXP for levels.
Ranks give rewards
Each Mastery Rank adds a stat bonus or a new ability, listed on every Vision page.
Spend AP on abilities
Abilities cost AP to equip, so pick the passives and supports that fit your plan.
Swap any time
Equipped abilities are never locked in. Change them whenever a fight needs something else.
How to Use Visions
Open Equipment & Abilities
In the party menu, open Equipment & Abilities, pick a character and switch to the Vision tab.
One Vision per character
Each party member wears one Vision at a time and gets its stats, skills and Resonance attack.
Match the role
A Vision works best on a character with the same job, like a Sentinel Vision on Rain.
Awaken with Magicite
The Moogle of Light in Grandport awakens Visions up to three times for stronger skills.
What are Visions?
Heroes of Final Fantasy
One hero from each numbered game from I to XVI, plus Sephiroth: 17 in total.
Brave Exvius heroes
9 characters from the mobile game the story is based on.
Resonance attacks
Every Vision has a signature Resonance skill you can fire once the gauge is ready.
Visions FAQ
How do you get Visions?
Most sit inside Sanctum crystals on the world map, several come from side quests, and Sephiroth joins after a boss fight at Whirlpool Hollow.
What does Mastery Rank do?
Winning battles with a Vision equipped earns MRP and raises its Mastery Rank, which adds AP and new abilities you can equip.
How do you awaken a Vision?
Visit the Moogle of Light, first met in Grandport, and spend a Magicite Shard, then Magicite, then a Magicite Cryst for the three stars.
Do you need a Vision equipped to use its abilities?
No. Abilities earned through Mastery Rank cost AP and can be mixed from many Visions on one character.
