Epimetheus Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
Epimetheus is a mini boss at the Mobliz Shipyard in Chapter 2, fought right before Adrastea. It is light on HP but uses Paralysis and Poison, and a countdown keeps ticking the whole time.
How to Beat Epimetheus
Before the Fight
- Bring Lightning, its only weakness.
- Plan to spend as little MP and as few items as you can.
- Try a steal, since it can carry a rare Iron Sandals.
Epimetheus Strategy
Keep an Eye on the Clock
The timer on the right side still runs here, for the last time in the story. Finish the fight before it reaches zero.
Burst It With Lightning
It is weaker than most bosses you have beaten by now, so a few Lightning hits do the job. A short fight also means fewer Paralysis and Poison hits.
Go for Damage Over Stagger
Its stagger gauge is tough to break, so raw damage is the faster route.
Save Fuel for Adrastea
Adrastea follows straight after with no break, so leave with as much MP and as many items as possible.
