Mom Bomb Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
Mom Bomb is the Chapter 2 boss inside the Dwarven Forge. It is not hard on its own, but around half HP it blows itself up and leaves four Bombs behind.
How to Beat Mom Bomb
Before the Fight
- Spread Cloud, Terra and Zidane over your three attackers so all of them hit Water.
- Keep Fina on healing and support.
- Have Siren ready to summon, since her attacks are Water too.
Mom Bomb Strategy
Soak It With Water
Water is its weak point and Fire is resisted, so every attacker should carry a Water skill from Cloud, Terra or Zidane.
Brace for the Big Boom
Watch for the explosion warning as its HP nears half. Defend with the whole party right before it goes off.
Fill Fina's Spare Turns With Siren
When nobody needs healing, Fina can call Siren. Her Water attacks add damage and stagger on top of your attackers.
