Before the Fight
- Make sure Fina can summon Carbuncle.
- Give every member a Water skill and bring Tidus for his Resonance.
- He is level 30, so aim to match that or go a little above.
Emperor of Zoldaad Strategy
Reflect Shuts Him Down
Carbuncle's Reflect bounces his status spells, and he barely does anything once it is up. That leaves you free to handle his guards.
Praetorians Go First
With Reflect on, the soldiers become the real danger. Clear them out before turning on the Emperor.
Water to Finish
Like Ignis, he only has a Water weakness. Hit it with everyone and save Tidus's Resonance for the stagger.
