Geldius Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
Geldius waits in the Sanctissimus Shrine in Chapter 6. He lowers your whole party's defense with Deprotectga, and once everyone is weakened he goes for a crushing physical attack.
How to Beat Geldius
Before the Fight
- Give everyone a Fire skill.
- Bring Squall, Vaan or Clive for a Fire Resonance.
- Have Protectga or Reflect ready.
Geldius Strategy
Burn Him Down
Fire is his only weakness and he resists Ice. Save the Fire Resonance for each stagger.
Undo the Deprotectga
Cast Protectga until your defense is back to at least normal. That stops him from switching to his big attack.
Or Bounce It Back
Reflect on the party sends Deprotectga back at him and saves you the cleanup turns.
