Final Fantasy Resonance Magic Pots: Items Each Pot Wants and Locations

Magic Pots in Final Fantasy Resonance are one-time fights that pay out a lot of MRP. Bring the item they ask for and the fight ends right away.
  • There are six kinds of Magic Pot, each found twice, for 12 in total.
  • You cannot beat them with attacks, only by using the item they want.
  • Rewards go from 120 MRP for a Citrine Pot to 1,200 MRP for a Pearly Pot.
  • They never attack, so Expert difficulty is free extra MRP here.
  • You get one shot at each pot, with no rematches.

Magic Pot Rewards

Using the right item ends the battle as a win and hands out a large chunk of MRP for every equipped Vision.

  • Switch to Expert first. The pots never attack, so the 1.5x MRP costs you nothing.
  • Equip a Mastery Pendant or Mastery Ring before you examine the pot.
  • Give everyone, benched members included, a Vision you want to rank up.

More MRP tricks are in the MRP farming guide.

How to Start a Magic Pot Fight

Look for a shining pot on the floor of a dungeon. Approach it and press Examine to begin the encounter.

What Are Magic Pots?

They are fixed, one-time enemies that cannot be beaten the normal way. Their HP is huge, they resist damage, ignore every status effect and heal to full on their turn.

That is why the item is the only answer. Since each pot only appears once, they also count as missables.
