FF Resonance Missables List and Point of No Return

Final Fantasy Resonance is forgiving, but a few chests and fights only happen once. Check this list so nothing slips past you.
  • Old Town, Olderion chests in Chapter 3 are gone for good once you leave.
  • Grandshelt Castle chests lock after Chapter 1 and open again in Chapter 4.
  • Magic Pots only fight you once each, so put on the Visions you plan to rank up first.
  • Using the portal beside the Crystal Tower - Upper Reach save point starts the ending.
  • Difficulty, abilities and Sanctum answers can all be changed or ignored safely.

Treasure Chests in Grandshelt Castle

Grandshelt Castle holds several Chapter 1 chests, one of them in a secret room. After beating Hell's Rider, walk to the knight statue and through the hidden wall beside it to find the Black Garb.

Anything you skip here stays locked until you can come back in Chapter 4, so it is only a temporary miss.

Old Town, Olderion Chests

The story sends you into Old Town, Olderion during Chapter 3. It has chests, and once that part of the story ends you cannot go back, so grab them while you are there.

MRP From Magic Pots

Some dungeons, Siren's Tower among them, have glowing pots that start Magic Pot fights. Give them the item they ask for and they pay out MRP, but each pot only does this once.

Equip the Visions you most want to rank up before you touch a pot. The Magic Pot guide lists every item they want.

Whirlpool Hollow

Whirlpool Hollow is where you fight Sephiroth, an S tier Vision. After you win him, the area closes permanently, so explore it first.

See the Sephiroth Vision page for his skills.

Point of No Return

Stat Dialogue Choices

Some story conversations give a permanent stat bonus based on your answer. You cannot change it later unless you load an older save.

Every answer and its bonus is in the dialogue choices guide.

Crystal Tower - Upper Reach

In Crystal Tower - Upper Reach, a portal sits beside the save point. Stepping through it takes you to the end of the game. Finish your side quests and collectibles and gear up before you step through.

After the credits you get a clear save that puts you back before the final boss, so you can still mop up afterward. See the post-game guide.
