How to play Rail Runner 3D
Your runner races along three train tracks and never stops. Switch tracks to the left or right, jump over the low red and white barriers and roll under the tall ones. A parked train blocks its whole track, so move to a free track or run up a wooden ramp and race across the roofs.
Trains with their headlights on are driving toward you, and you will hear a horn when one starts moving. Get out of its track early. Running head first into the front of any train ends the run.
Knocking over a barrier or brushing the side of a train only makes you stumble, but then the grumpy guard and his dog run up right behind you. Stumble again within 5 seconds and he catches you. The first stretch of every run is practice: arrows show what to do, and the practice barriers and the first train never end your run.
Rail Runner 3D power-ups
Power-ups float inside bubbles on the tracks and sometimes on train roofs. The magnet pulls nearby coins to you for 10 seconds. The jetpack lifts you high above everything for about 6 seconds, so steer to follow the coin trail in the sky. Super sneakers make your jumps about twice as high for 10 seconds, high enough to land on a train roof without a ramp.
The gold star doubles your score multiplier for 12 seconds. The bubble shield lasts 20 seconds and saves you from one hit. If you crash into a train while it is on, the bubble pops and bounces you up onto the roof instead.
How scoring works in Rail Runner 3D
Every meter you run gives points equal to your multiplier. The multiplier starts at x1 and goes up by 1 for every 50 coins you collect in that run, up to x20. The gold star doubles it while it lasts. The small bar under the coin counter shows how close the next step is.
Your best score is saved on this device. The speed keeps rising the longer you run, so a long run with lots of coins early is the way to big numbers.
Tips for a high score in Rail Runner 3D
Look far down the tracks, not at your feet. Lines of coins usually point to a safe track, and coin arcs show exactly where to jump. When all three tracks have trains, one of them always has a ramp, so head for it.
Train roofs are a safe place to run because barriers are only on the ground. If you jump too early, swipe down to drop fast and roll right away. After a stumble, play it safe for a few seconds until the guard falls behind again.
