How to play Stack Tower 3D

A new block slides back and forth above your tower, first from one side, then from the other. Tap, click or press Space to drop it. The part that lands on the tower stays, and anything hanging over the edge gets sliced off and tumbles down.

So every sloppy drop makes the next block a little smaller. If you drop a block completely off the tower, the game is over and the camera pulls back to show the whole tower you built.

Stack Tower 3D tips for perfect drops

Watch the edge of the sliding block, not the middle. Drop the moment its edge lines up with the edge of the floor below. If you are close enough, the block snaps into place, keeps its full size and you see a white ring.

Perfect drops in a row build a streak. From the 5th perfect in a row, every perfect drop also makes the block grow back a little, so a long streak can rescue a tower that got thin. The blocks speed up as you climb, so find a steady rhythm early.

How scoring and stars work in Stack Tower 3D

Your score is the number of floors you stack. Every 10 floors you get a burst of confetti, and the sky slowly turns from day to sunset and then to a starry night as the tower climbs.

At the end you earn stars: 1 star for 5 floors, 2 stars for 15 and 3 stars for 30. The results also show how many perfect drops you made and how far the next star is. Once you have all 3 stars, they show your longest perfect streak instead. Your best score is saved on this device.

Is Stack Tower 3D good for kids?

Yes. It needs just one button, there is nothing scary in it and the first floors are slow with a wide margin for perfect drops, so younger kids get the hang of it quickly. A second tap that comes right after a drop (within about a quarter of a second) is ignored, so an excited double tap does not throw the next block away. Tapping nonstop without looking does not work though, so it is a nice way to practice timing and focus.

Can you play Stack Tower 3D on a phone?

Yes. Tap anywhere on the game to drop a block. On the start and results screens you can also tap anywhere around the card to play, so little fingers do not have to hit the button. It runs in the browser with WebGL, so there is nothing to install, and it lowers its resolution by itself on slower phones to stay smooth.
