Belmodar Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
Belmodar guards the Earth Shrine in Chapter 1 of Final Fantasy Resonance, and as a level 4 Beast it makes a gentle first lesson in stagger. The only real trap is burning healing items you will want in the next big dungeon.
How to Beat Belmodar
Before the Fight
- Keep Rain and Lasswell in front, since their starting skills already cover its Fire weakness and your stagger.
- If you picked up a Flame Scroll I in the shrine, keep it for Lasswell.
- Walk in with your Potions and plan to walk out with most of them.
Belmodar Strategy
Rain Burns It With Fire
Fire is its weak point, so have Rain cast it every turn. Each cast drains the stagger gauge much faster than a plain hit.
Lasswell Opens With Dawn Frost
Dawn Frost is the best stagger tool Lasswell owns this early. Once Belmodar is stunned, switch him to Blizzard for damage or to normal attacks to keep his MP.
Keep Your Healing Items
Only heal when someone is actually in danger. The next big dungeon is packed with undead that get hurt by healing, so every Potion you save pays off there.
