Gilgamesh Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
Gilgamesh first shows up during the Chapter 1 climb of Siren's Tower, and that fight cannot be won. Once he is down to about half HP, he steals the Genji Gloves from the chest you just opened and runs off.
How to Beat Gilgamesh
Before the Fight
- Spend as little MP and as few items as you can, the rest of the tower is still ahead.
- He is hard to stagger, so do not plan around a break.
Gilgamesh Strategy
Treat It as a Scripted Scene
The battle ends on its own once his HP is around half, so there is nothing to gain from going all out.
Save Resources for the Climb
Keep MP and items for the rest of Siren's Tower, since you cannot refill until you leave.
Later Rematches Play Differently
On the Airship, kill his summons first and the fight ends once the Bomb blows. At the Kolobos Bridge he has no weakness, so bring your best team.
