Phantom Train True Form Weaknesses and How to Beat It in FF Resonance
Phantom Train True Form is the boss of The Call from Beyond, a Chapter 5 side quest. It throws Blind, Silence, Confuse and Instant Death plus a Doom timer, but it falls fast to the right elements.
How to Beat Phantom Train True Form
Before the Fight
- Equip accessories that block Blind and Silence, or Terra at 3 stars, whose Ribbon effect does the same.
- Bring Lasswell for quick Ice stagger, along with Light users.
Phantom Train True Form Strategy
Ice and Light End It Quickly
Both elements hit weaknesses. Lasswell's strong Ice skills are especially good for breaking it.
Block the Ailments
Blind shuts down physical hitters and Silence shuts down casters. The right accessories or a 3 star Terra keep both away.
Do Not Worry About Doom
Side bosses tend to be gentler, so just keep attacking. It should drop before any Doom timer runs out.
