Typhon is fought on the Airship during Beyond the Blue, a Chapter 5 side quest. Its Snort blows party members out of the battle one by one, so the fight is a race.
How to Beat Typhon
Before the Fight
- Put your three strongest Ice attackers in the party.
- Save right before the fight, since you may want to reload.
Typhon Strategy
Reload for a Good Opening
Typhon opens with Snort and sends someone away. If it takes your best attacker, reload and try again.
Go Straight for Damage
It keeps blowing people away until nobody is left. Skip buffs and healing and hit it with your strongest Ice skills every turn.
Come Back Stronger
The pressure is rough if you are not ahead on levels. You can always leave it and return with a stronger team.
