FF Resonance Death Penalty: What Happens When You Die
Losing a battle in Final Fantasy Resonance costs you nothing. You simply pick how to continue.
- There is no penalty for a party wipe.
- Your choices are Retry Battle, Load, or going back to the title.
- If you forgot to save, retry the fight, run away if you can, then save.
- Levels, healing items and a healer are the best protection.
What Happens When You Die?
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Retry Battle | Restarts the fight you just lost |
| Load | Goes back to one of your saves |
| Return to Title | Exits to the title screen |
You keep everything, since there is no Gil or EXP loss for a wipe.
Retry and Run If You Did Not Save
If you lose a fight you can escape from and your last save is far back, choose Retry, flee the battle, then save right away.
How to Prevent Death
Level Up
Higher levels give more stats and new skills, so your party hits harder and takes less damage. The EXP farming guide speeds this up.
Carry Healing and Revival Items
Keep Potions and Phoenix Downs stocked before every fight, especially if your team has no healer.
Bring a Healer
Fina and Visions like Leah give you healing magic. Heal early instead of waiting until someone is nearly down.
Grit from Warrior of Light at Mastery Rank 9 and the Chocobo Down Charm each let a character survive one lethal hit per battle.
