How to play Dino Run
Your green dino runs on its own. Jump over cacti, rocks and rolling logs. A quick tap gives a small hop, holding the button gives a big jump, and you need the big one for tall cacti.
Around 350 points flying pterosaurs join in. Jump over the low ones and duck under the high ones. You have 3 hearts, and each bump costs one, so a single mistake never ends the run.
Dino Run scoring and eggs
You earn points for distance, about 10 per second at the start and more as the dino speeds up. Each spotted egg adds 20 points and a golden egg adds 50.
Every 100 points the score flashes gold, and every 500 points you get a burst of confetti. Night falls around 600 points and the sun comes back near 1,000, then the cycle repeats.
Tips for a high score in Dino Run
Eggs often float right above an obstacle, so a well timed jump grabs them for free. Eggs under a high flyer are yours if you duck, and rows of eggs on the ground just need you to keep running.
Rolling logs move faster than the ground, so jump a little earlier for them. If you jump too high, press down to drop fast and get ready for the next one.
Can you play Dino Run on a phone?
Yes. Tap anywhere to jump, keep your finger down to jump higher and swipe down to duck. The pause button sits in the top left corner. It runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install.
