How to play Wing Flap
Each tap, click or Space press makes the round bird flap once and hop up a little. Let go and it slowly drops. Keep it flying through the gap between each pair of candy striped pillars without touching them or the ground.
The run starts on a get ready screen, so the bird just hovers until your first tap. The first gaps are very wide and the pillars come slowly, which makes it easy for young kids to learn.
Wing Flap scoring and medals
You get 1 point for every pillar you fly past. Reach 10 for a bronze medal, 25 for silver, 50 for gold and 100 for platinum. The ring around the medal icon in the corner shows how close you are to the next one.
The sky changes as you go: sunset at 10 points, a starry night at 25 and sunrise at 50. Your best score is saved on this device.
Tips to score high in Wing Flap
Use short, calm taps instead of mashing. Try to stay around the middle of the next gap before you reach it, then make small corrections. The gaps get a bit narrower and the bird flies a bit faster as your score climbs.
After 20 points, fluffy cloud towers start to float up and down. Watch which way the gap is moving and aim for where it will be, not where it is now.
Can you play Wing Flap on a phone?
Yes. Tap anywhere on the game to flap, and use the round button in the top right corner to pause. On a computer you can play with Space, the up arrow, W or the mouse. Nothing to install, it runs right in the browser.
